Terms of service
This is a template for a demonstration deployment. Have a lawyer review it before taking payments from real customers.
1. The service
Cutout Studio removes the background from images you upload and returns a cutout. Processing is performed by a third-party model provider on our behalf.
We may change or discontinue parts of the service. If a change removes something you have already paid for, we will refund the unused portion.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done through your account.
One person or organisation per account. Do not share credentials with people outside your organisation.
3. Free previews and credits
Free previews are limited to a set number per day and to a reduced resolution. We may adjust these limits to keep the service available to everyone.
Credits bought in a pack do not expire. Credits included in a monthly plan are replaced at each renewal and do not carry over to the next period.
A credit is consumed when a full resolution cutout is produced. If processing fails, the credit is returned to your balance.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any taxes that apply in your country.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload images you have no right to use, and do not use the service for unlawful material or to create misleading depictions of real people.
Do not attempt to bypass the rate limits, the verification challenge or the credit system.
We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the cutouts we return. You grant us only the permission needed to process and store them so the service can work.
You can delete your images at any time. Deleting your account removes them from our storage.
7. Liability
The service is provided as is. We do not promise that every cutout will meet your expectations, which is why previews are free.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
